Our mission at Playhouse On Park is to create an affordable and relaxed playhouse experience for the Rochester community that is welcoming and full of wisecracking, whimsy and wit.
Our youth camps and shows are for children of all skill levels. They will learn improvisation, role-play, mime, movement, storytelling, and theatre games that help build confidence and increase self-awareness, relaxation, responsibility, creativity and imagination.
By focusing on storytelling on a variety of levels such as physical, emotional, imaginative and social, these classes will encourage artistic insight and enhance acting skills. Whether students are interested in careers in acting or simply want to try something new, our youth camps and shows will offer an exciting and educational experience for all.
Our dinner/dessert community shows are for anyone in the ROC community who hasn't found their connection yet or anyone who would like to try for the first time! We welcome performers of all ages, and look forward to providing an experience that is affordable and truly inclusive to all.
